Why "macedondoc", you ask? Well, my roots are in Macedonia (see picture), so it all started there...
Recently, I was fortunate enough to be part of the academic staff on the 2008 Voyage of The Scholar Ship teaching international business to undergraduates and graduate students from 40 countries around the world. This blog began as we got ready to sail the world.
One of my 2008 New Year's resolutions was to go back to connecting with young people around the world through teaching, mentoring and consulting.
In December 2007 I got my wish when I was offered to join The Scholarship academic faculty traveling around the world while teaching and living with a multi-national student body for four whole months! Thus I have embarked on fulfilling my own resolution...
Many of you have asked before I left that I share my experience which is the reason I have created this blog. I hope you visit it often as I keep you posted about my exciting travels and experiences starting with The Scholar Ship.
I only ask that you try and engage in a dialog with me and others through this blog; a dialog that will hopefully further support the mission of my trips to help create a transnational learning community that develops inter-cultural competences to help us benefit from fulfilling the vision of building a harmonious global village.
